Welcome to Miner’s Cottage, a charming retreat nestled right in the heart of historic Marmora. Perfectly positioned to offer both tranquil natural beauty and ultimate convenience, this cozy getaway is ideal for anyone looking to unwind by the water. Situated right in the town of Marmora, Miner’s Cottage gives you the best of both worlds: a peaceful, secluded feel with quick and easy access to local shops, dining, and historic town charm. Whether you’re grabbing morning coffee in town or exploring the local trails, everything you need is just minutes away.

NO LOUD PARTIES ALLOWED
Our house is not ideal for loud parties. We have a quiet neighbourhood with very strict by-laws around noise and garbage, so we enforce a no party policy during your stay. Get togethers are welcome as long as it's done in a respectful way towards our community. Thank you for your understanding. Please note we are doing some renovations around the house, so you might see some construction material tucked away. The house and all it's amenities are 100% safe and available during your stay!

THE SPACE
Welcome to our large 6-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, child friendly oasis with a fireplace, BBQ, fire pit, and a hot tub; everything you need for a restful, fun vacation or work from home experience. Great open spaces for dining or lounging with lots of natural light highlighting many beautiful views, comfy bedrooms, and LED tv with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime, and dozens of board games. 3-in-1 dining table that converts to a ping pong and pool table, foosball table and an air hockey table! Reliable high speed internet. Loads of parking for everyone in your family! 1.5 hours from Toronto GTA. Entire unit will be accessible to you, including the fireplace, hot tub, swimming pool, BBQ, and 2 driveways. Other things to note We sometimes stay in the adjacent unit, but we won't bother you or use any of the amenities available to you. But if you need anything do let us know and we will be happy to help! Level 2 EV Charger with SAE-J1772 plug available on-site. Let us know if you need it in advance so we can make it accessible.

Guest access Smart lock access is available at the front door. Patio access is available through the master bedroom and living room. Please ensure gate to pool area remains closed during winter months as this is a hazard and should not be accessed.

You understand that staying on our property is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, walking, hiking and staying on our property. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may arise from any activity while staying on our property. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur to either yourself or other guests on the property. If you are traveling with a pet, damage caused to the property or physical damage to other guests by said pet is your responsibility. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against us, the hosts, for accidents or claims arising from hiking or staying on this property. All Airbnb Guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests (you) and Airbnb Host (me)
